Juliet is very passionate about the affairs of the older persons and has elected to build a career in ageing. In 2011 she founded Agewell Care Initiative – AWCI. An initiative born out of passion for older persons, sharing the pains they bear. An ageing care NGO that promotes healthy ageing through advocacy and distribution of relief items to older persons.
AWCI proposes to build Ageing Recreation Centers in Nigeria rural communities. Her advocacy and outreach programmes for older persons have resulted in several international and national institutional collaborations on issues of ageing policy and programmes in Nigeria.
In 2013 she was awarded INIA Scholarship for studies in Policy Formulation, Planning, Implementation and Monitoring of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing in Malta. She is a member of the stakeholder committee on Healthy Ageing and Geriatric Care Management in Nigeria.
She is the co-founder of Comback International, a non-governmental organization that cares for drop out of school children/teenage girls as a result of unwanted pregnancies.
Juliet is a mother, a teacher, a philanthropist, self-motivated, a goal getter, with very stronge drive to effect change especially in the lives of older persons. Juliet puts a lot of creativity, enthusiasm, passion, willingness to learn new things and hard work in her job. She is a very multifaceted and dynamic personality. She loves creative arts and writing.
